Peterson collects Top-5 finish at US 30 Speedway on Thursday night

Competing in just a single event over the weekend, Devyn Peterson joined a field of 14 IMCA Northern Sportmod drivers at US 30 Speedway (Columbus, Neb.) on Thursday evening.

Charging to the victory from fifth in his heat race, Peterson started ninth in the $1,000-to-win main event and drove to a fifth-place finish. He trailed James Roebuck, David Johnson, Caleb Woodard, and Spencer Galaway.
